What tools or uniforms do I need?
What tools or uniforms do I need?
It depends on the venue, role, and location.
Your recruiter will confirm exact requirements before your shift, but here’s a starter guide to ensure you’re always prepared. Clients expect a consistent, polished appearance — your uniform is part of the service experience
✅ 🍽️ FOH (Front of House)
Servers, Bartenders, Porters, Cashiers, etc.
- Latest computer, iPad, or iPhone — to connect with Agency Apps
- Name tag (some venues require this)
- White or black dress shirt / black polo
- Black tie, vest, (belt optional)
- Black apron and sport pouch
- Black dress pants and socks
- Black non-slip, oil-resistant dress shoes (CSA-certified for porters)
- Gloves (for porters)
- Bartender kit (shaker, strainer, pour spout, etc.)
- Server kit (pen, pad, lighter, wine opener)
💡 If you’re new: Your trainer or recruiter will review all required tools and uniforms during onboarding.
This is a general guide, but being properly equipped shows professionalism and readiness — two qualities clients always remember.
